Jennifer Byron, MBA, MS
Jennifer Byron is a business woman with diverse interests. Jennifer studied Brain Gym to create greater balance in her life and found the Brain Gym program to be so transformative that she decided to become a professional in the field of Educational Kinesiology. Jennifer successfully completed the three year mentoring and leadership development program for Brain Gym Instructors that was offered by The Michigan Brain Gym® Consortium.
Jennifer is currently a faculty member of Davenport University and Grand Valley State University where she teaches two classes, one on leadership and the other on team development. (Just delete the rest of that paragraph.) She is also co-author of the book, The Courage Code, a book for and about women.
Dr. Paul E. Dennison, Ph.D.
Dr. Paul E. Dennison, a world authority on cognitive skills and reading achievement, did the seminal research for the Brain Gym work in the 1960s and has since, in collaboration with his wife Gail E. Dennison, developed the field of movement-based learning known today as Educational Kinesiology.
Dr. Dennison’s unique understanding of the brain provides a science of learning whereby people everywhere can discover how to access their full potential. This science has made the Brain Gym program the world’s most successful learning system, used currently in more than eighty countries and translated into more than fifty languages.
Susan Owens, MS, OTR
Susan Owens is Special Education Regional Supervisor, Lenawee Intermediate School District in Michigan. She is also an occupational therapist with over 35 years of experience. She has worked with children with special needs both within the educational system and within hospitals. Susan was a professor at Eastern Michigan and Wayne State Universities over a 15-year timeframe. She is a seasoned presenter in the area of Brain Gym® and Brain Based Learning. In addition to her leadership role within the Michigan educational system, Susan is the Executive Director of The Michigan Brain Gym® Consortium.
Monica Panagos, MIR
Monica Panagos, MIR, is a pioneer in the advancement of human consciousness. She has extensive experience presenting and consulting for corporations, educational institutions, and associations and as a personal coach, therapist and spiritual counselor throughout North America. She became a licensed Brain Gym Instructor and Consultant in 1992. In that capacity, she has trained thousands of people in the various uses and applications of Brain Gym. She is the founder of and senior consultant to The Michigan Brain Gym® Consortium. Monica is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the International Institute of Integral Human Sciences in Montreal, Canada. She is listed in the eighth edition of The International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women.
Nancy Ramsdell, B.S., M.A.
Nancy Ramsdell is a life long educator. She was a classroom teacher for thirty-five years in the public school system during which time she taught grades one through eight. In 2004, she became a licensed Brain Gym® Instructor and Consultant. She successfully completed the three year mentoring and leadership development program for Brain Gym Instructors that was offered by The Michigan Brain Gym® Consortium.
In the three years preceeding her retirement, Nancy used Brain Gym extensively with her grade 4 students. She claims these were the best years in her teaching career because she had an effective way of addressing the learning challenges of her students. Since retiring in 2005, Nancy has been a consultant with The Michigan Brain Gym Consortium and has had a private Brain Gym consulting practice.
Nancy has been on a personal healing journey for many years. She is thrilled to extend her healing to her many children and grandchildren and to the community at large.
Don Wetsel, MA, LAc, NCTMB.
Don Wetsel, MA, LAc, NCTMB. has studied extensively with Dr. Paul Dennison. In addition to Edu-K In-Depth, he teaches Brain Gym®, Visioncircles, Optimal Brain Organization, Movement Re-education, Creative Vision and Touch for Health®. His extensive training and experience in functional aspects of both western and energetic anatomy and physiology allow him to embody these concepts and effectively teach them to others. He becomes passionate when these concepts become creative and transformational in the Educational Kinesiology 5 step balance process. Don enthusiastically shares his vision of a world where learning is fun and easy. He supports each individual to develop fully and embody excellent health and emotional and spiritual well-being.
